ENVIRONMENTAL ACCOUNTABILITY

An end-to-end long-term commitment: from the planet to mankind.

HUMAN RESOURCES:

1 → GOSIS bases its recruitment policy solely on skills. Therefore we employ in our Survey and Development Centres:
- Persons with impaired mobility
- Persons from all social and ethnic backgrounds
- Seniors to whom we entrust the training of new recruits as part of their duties
- Young people, with or without a degree

2 → GOSIS tries to foster telecommuting among its staff and contractors, whenever this is feasible, in order to limit unnecessary travel, which is a source of stress, energy consumption and financial expenditure. GOSIS places particular emphasis on the accountability and efficiency of its people.

TOWARDS DEMATERIALISATION :

1 → GOSIS provides a secure web portal to all its clients which offers a means of monitoring their entire back-office operations (orders, deliveries, invoicing and payments) and can thus contribute to a significant reduction of paper use.

2 → Clients can monitor the technical aspects of their contracts via the GOSIS Webtech. The reporting, whose format is defined upstream with each client, is fully secure and available online on a permanent basis.

WASTE MANAGEMENT :

1 → GOSIS is in the process of signing a contract with a highly reputed company to enable it to recycle all non-repairable hardware parts. The recycling is certified and permanently monitored.

2 → GOSIS fits each work station with two bins enabling waste to be sorted so as to ensure 100% recycling. The cafeteria will have an additional bin designed for collecting glass.

MANAGEMENT OF PURCHASES :

GOSIS requires its suppliers to provide end-to-end traceability of the origin, the type de production and the percentage of recyclability of any products that it orders.

1 → GOSIS provides most of its files and presentations in electronic form via le Web or on USB keys to its existing and prospective clients. The USB keys are made out of bamboo or of wood and do not contain any non-recyclable materials. GOSIS prints all its quotes and contracts on high quality, 100% recyclable paper.

2 → GOSIS has a company car policy founded on the consumption and the production of CO2, which must not exceed 140 grams per kilometre, excluding utility vehicles. The savings in terms of tax (environmental bonus and tax on company cars) and fuel consumption enable us to cut costs, and the savings are passed on to our clients.
